Founder and Chief Executive Officer Larry Hung
Mr. Hung brought over 15 years of investment and asset management experience in global capital markets and graduated with a bachelor's degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He began his investment career at Value Partners, one of Asia's largest asset management firms, where he managed a hedge fund and was recognized as one of the "Top 7 Hedge Funds in Greater China" by HFMWeek Asia for two consecutive years.
Before founding Helix Capital Partners Limited, he previously partnered with Mr. Shih Wing Ching, Founder of Centaline Group, to establish Centaline Family Office from the ground up. In just two years, he expanded the firm's assets under management (AUM) from zero to an impressive US$2 billion, rapidly establishing industry leadership.
Mr. Hung is also a seasoned financial author, having contributed regular financial columns to mainstream media such as the Hong Kong Economic Journal and Economic Digest for many years. He has published several best-selling financial books, including the Step by Step to Wealth series. Mr. Hung has robust fundamental research expertise and extensive experience in asset allocation across cycles, coupled with rigorous risk control. Mr. Hung is dedicated to integrating top-tier institutional investment frameworks with the long-term perspective of family offices, safeguarding the wealth of our clients for generations.
Founder and Chief Investment Officer
Ray Yep
During his 15 years of experience in the fixed income market, Mr. Yep has managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios as a Senior Portfolio Manager for top-tier Hong Kong asset management firms including Hang Seng Investment Management and BOCHK Asset Management.
Prior to that, he was a Vice President in the Barclays Asia credit trading team, adding to his extensive experience in both buy-side and sell-side of the market. The portfolios he managed have received multiple market recognitions, including the Marquee Award - Best Insurance Asset Manager from Asian Investor, and Most Astute Investor in Hong Kong from The Asset.
Mr. Yep graduated with a bachelor's degree from The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
