Personal Data Privacy Statment

Notice Relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance ("the Ordinance")
 

In your interactions and business dealings with Helix Capital Partners Limited ("the Company"), the Company may from time to time request you to provide personal data under the following circumstances:
 

  • Registering an account on the Company's official website;

  • Establishing, maintaining, or continuing business accounts and service relationships;

  • Utilizing our integrated platform services (covering financial investments, wealth management, credit financing, and professional services);

  • Participating in online or offline events hosted by the Company; and

  • Making inquiries or communicating via telephone, email, or online forms.
     

In this Notice, "Client" includes persons authorized by the Company and its holding companies, subsidiaries, group entities, strategic partners, or affiliates (collectively, "the Company and Group Entities"). In daily business operations, the Company may also collect or generate client-related personal data (including names, company names, email addresses, and job titles) through lawful third parties (such as third-party service providers engaged during application).
 

I. Purpose of Using Personal Data (Mandatory vs. Voluntary)

Personal data collected by the Company is categorized into Mandatory Purposes and Voluntary Purposes:

  • Mandatory Purposes: If a client wishes to receive our services, providing necessary personal data is obligatory. Failure to do so may prevent the Company from opening, maintaining, or continuing account relationships or providing integrated platform services. Mandatory purposes include:

    • Processing service applications and maintaining daily service operations.

    • Designing or tailoring financial and related products through group entities and strategic partners.

    • Complying with binding local or overseas laws, regulations, guidelines, industry codes, tax compliance requirements, and requests from regulatory, law enforcement, or exchange authorities across jurisdictions.

    • Implementing internal group policies against money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions compliance, or financial crime prevention.

    • Enabling actual or proposed assignees, transferees, or participants to evaluate proposed rights transfers or transactions.

    • Any statutory or operational purposes directly related to the above.

  • Voluntary Purposes (Direct Marketing): Subject to client consent (including indication of no objection), the Company may use personal data (such as name, phone number, email, address, financial background, demographics, portfolio, and transaction patterns) for direct marketing. Marketing subjects include financial investments, wealth management, credit services, reward programs, and member privileges provided by the Group or partners. Clients may exercise their right to opt out at any time without charge.
     

II. Confidentiality and Disclosure of Personal Data

The Company maintains strict confidentiality regarding client personal data. However, data may be disclosed to the following parties (within or outside Hong Kong) for authorized purposes:

  • Agents, contractors, or third-party service providers offering administrative, IT, telecommunications, computer support, payment clearing, or professional services to the Company.

  • Other group entities and partners bound by duty of confidentiality.

  • Payment banks and related financial service institutions.

  • Professional collection agencies assisting in recovering outstanding debts.

  • Actual or proposed assignees, transferees, or participants of the Company.

  • Any person or authority to whom disclosure is required by law or regulatory bodies.
     

III. Data Access and Correction Rights

Under and in accordance with the Ordinance, clients have the right to:

  • Check whether the Company holds their personal data and access such data.

  • Request the correction of any inaccurate personal data.

  • Ascertain the Company's policies and practices regarding personal data and the types of data held.

The Company reserves the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for processing data access requests.
 

IV. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Company's website uses cookies and similar text files/technologies to optimize browsing experience, remember preferences, and deliver relevant marketing info:

  • Performance Cookies: Collect aggregate, anonymous data on site visitor counts, click rates, and conversions to analyze ad effectiveness and improve site functionality. No personally identifiable information is collected.

  • Marketing Cookies & Third-Party Tracking: Used to deliver tailored marketing content and targeted advertising in collaboration with industry-compliant third-party advertising and social media partners.
